    Towards Indonesia’s maritime industry free from discrimination and harassment

  8. COP27: ILO events streamed from the Just Transition Pavilion

    Keeping the social dimension of climate change at the forefront of discussions is the focus of events being organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) at the up-coming UN Climate Change Conference (COP27). Together with the European Commission, the ILO hosts the first ever Just Transition Pavilion, a convening space for events, meetings and knowledge sharing around just transition and climate action in cooperation with the UNFCCC, International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and International Organisation of Employers (IOE).   1. Equipping forcibly displaced youth in settlements in East Africa with skills to be changemakers

    A group of 60 young people from forcibly displaced and host communities in Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan and Uganda are benefitting from a collaboration between the ILO, UNHCR and UNICEF, enabling them to find solutions improving access of youth to skills and employment.
