56th Congress of the French Speaking Ergonomics Society

A few weeks after International Labour Conference delegates adopted a resolution to add the principle of a safe and healthy working environment to the International Labour Organization (ILO) declaration on fundamental principles and rights at work, the ILO joins the Société d'Ergonomie de Langue Française (SELF) for the organization of its 56th Congress which is being held in Geneva-Switzerland from 06 to 08 July 2022.

More than 200 delegates will debate over 3 days to federate the reflections carried out in ergonomics, anthropotechnology and related disciplines, around the way in which institutions, companies, work groups, communities and individuals anticipate the vulnerability of our societies faced with health, industrial, natural, social or technological risks, adapt to them and work to overcome them.

The tripartite plenary session co-organized by the ILO and SELF will be a plenary conference (scheduled for 6 July 2022 10-11:30 AM) and will deal with the theme "Effective social dialogue for a holistic ergonomic approach in the future of work ". In the form of a round table, this plenary aims to compare points of view around the future of work. In particular, the Declaration on the future of work: the ILO response to reduce vulnerabilities at work will be presented and discussed. The evolution of vulnerability at work will be questioned from the point of view of ergonomics. Then representatives of employers and workers will present their point of view around social dialogue and the future of work, to support the forms of an effective dialogue to reduce the vulnerabilities of workers and companies.

The plenary conferences of the SELF Congress will be broadcast live (then delayed) on the SELF Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/SELF-fr
