ILC Daily Show features questions and answers on cooperatives and the wider social and solidarity economy

During the 2021 International Labour Conference, the ILO hosted a virtual Daily show, which featured questions and answers on cooperatives and the wider social and solidarity economy on June 17, 2021.

During the 2021 International Labour Conference, the ILO hosted a virtual Daily show every day at 16:30 CEST on a range of world of work issues. The daily show on June 17, 2021 also featured questions and answers on cooperatives and the wider social and solidarity economy (SSE). The questions ranged from the definition of social and solidarity economy and the response of cooperatives and wider SSE to the COVID19 pandemic to the upcoming general discussion at ILC 2022 and women empowerment in relation to cooperatives.

During the show, a one-minute video on cooperative responses to COVID19 was also featured. ILO COOP Manager Ms Simel Esim responded to the questions some of which were posed by the ILO Department of Communications staff members and others posed by members of the audience.
