  1. Labour Standards in Global Supply Chains: A Programme of Action for Asia and the Garment Sector in Indonesia

    The development objective of the Labour Standards in Global Supply Chains (LSGSC) project was to improve the lives of workers and increase decent work opportunities in global supply chains (GSCs) in the garment sector, starting with the project’s beneficiary countries: Cambodia, Indonesia and Pakistan. The project’s programme of action included interventions at factory-level and country-level as well as global and Asia regional components.

    In collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the Labour Standards in Global Supply Chains: A Programme of Action for Asia and the Garment Sector (LSGSC) project has addressed critical challenges relating to labour standards and working conditions in garment sector global supply chains (GSCs) in the Asia region, focusing on the project’s three target countries: Cambodia, Indonesia and Pakistan, as well as through global and regional components.

  4. International Study on Social Dialogue

    The goal of the Global Deal Flagship Report is to provide an international portrait of the state of social dialogue to identify challenges and opportunities, promote exchange of ideas and experiences, discuss joint projects and solutions and provide solid evidence to policy-makers and stakeholders.

  5. Best Practices on Social Dialogue and Industrial Relations

    1 November 2017 - 31 March 2018,

    Planned activities: Undertake research to collect best practices on social dialogue and industrial relations processes and mechanisms targeting mainly Global Deal associated partners. Purpose and objectives of the activities against which the results will be reported: Selected governments, workers and employers' organisations at national and global levels, private sector companies and multinationals. Target groups: Identify best practices focusing on social dialogue and industrial relations and coordinate national and international consultants to carry out timely research to highlight case studies in support of the Global Deal.

  6. Workplaces and Industries for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth through Sharing Good Practices of GBA, OSH and IR Projects (InSIGHT Project)

    The InSIGHT Project aims to promote mechanisms and practical approaches that enable industries and workplaces in the Asian region to become drivers of sustainable and inclusive growth.

  7. Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) Project Phase II

    Sustaining Competitive and Responsible enterprises (SCORE) is a practical training and in-factory counselling programme that improves productivity and working conditions in small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

  8. Promoting worker rights and competitiveness in Egyptian export industries

    1 October 2011 - 31 July 2017,

    The Project aims to contribute to the promotion of decent work in Egypt by supporting improved compliance with fundamental principles and rights at work. Accordingly, the main focus of the Project is to improve workplace cooperation and labour law compliance through capacity building and joint training programmes for both, employers and workers in labour-intensive export sectors.

  9. Improving industrial relations in Cambodia's garment industry

    1 January 2014 - 31 March 2017,

    The project aims to improve industrial relations in the garment industry through a mixture of policy advice and capacity building in selected enterprises at the industry level and at the national level.

  10. Promoting social dialogue in Macedonia

    1 October 2014 - 30 September 2016,

    This project aims to assist the country in strengthening tripartite and bipartite social dialogue through institutional and legislative improvement along with activities aimed at strengthening the capacities of government, employers’ organizations and trade unions to engage effectively in social dialogue.
