End Child Labour: Virtual Race 2021

The massive campaign will be conducted by the ILO in collaboration with Cause Indonesia, an organization that provides a virtual platform and community, through a virtual race by inviting more than 5,000 participants nationwide to be involved and to be part of the social movement against child labour.

World Day Against Child Labour - 12 June 2021

This year’s World Day Against Child Labour focuses on action taken for the 2021 International Year for the Elimination of Child Labour. It is the first World Day since the universal ratification of the ILO’s Convention No. 182 on the Worst Forms of Child Labour, and takes place at time when the COVID-19 crisis threatens to reverse years of progress in tackling the problem.

Launch of the Initiative for the Fight against Child Labour by the Private Sector in Morocco (ILTESAM)

Launch of the Trade for Decent Work Project- Ghana

The Ghana project aims at improving the application of the ILO Fundamental Conventions as well as compliance with reporting obligations to the ILO supervisory bodies, in particular regarding child labour and the worst forms of child labour, in sectors with high incidence such as the cocoa sector, and related conventions contributing to decent work in those sectors and connected activities in the local and global value chains such as all services and transport.
