At its first meeting in February 2016, the SRM TWG referred the review of 68 maritime instruments to the Special Tripartite Committee (STC) established for addressing matters relating to the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC, 2006). The STC decided that a first group of 34 instruments would be reviewed by the third meeting of the STC in April 2018, and a second group of 34 instruments will be presented at the fourth meeting. At its third meeting in April 2018, the STC adopted recommendations concerning those 34 maritime instruments.
