Comments and Observations:Govt. of Saint Kitts and Nevis (23 November 2022)
We write to provide an update on the subject case further to internal investigations and correspondence with Mr Mohamed Arrachedi, ITF Inspector.

Attempts have been made by our regional office to contact the owner on the subject case however, all attempts have failed regarding any reply to our requests for comment.

Upon checking the status of the vessel, it is apparent that the owner has allowed the Registration to elapse.

This Administration, through its regional office, will continue to monitor the situation and push the owners to rectify the outstanding matters.

ITF (17 March 2023)
2 seafarers were paid and disembarked, but one of them did not receive all his owed wages as the employers deducted his repatriation cost and the cost of the hotel whilst he was wating to go home. The employers are no longer responding and we continue to work with the flag state to resolved the matter
