Adoption: 2007-12 | Date of entry into force: 2007-12-28 | LSO-2007-L-81637 Amends the Public Service Act 2005, section 18(4) by deleting the words " but reviewable in the courts of law". Also amends section 20 by deleting subsections (1) to (4) and replacing them with new subsections concerning the Public Service Tribunal. Deletes section 30 and replaces it concerning the extent of application of the Labour Code: "30. The Labour Code Order 1992 shall not apply to public officers, except in relation to appeals to the Labour Court in pursuance of section 20 of this Act."

Adoption: 1996-08-08 | LSO-1996-L-45793 Provides for the Lesotho Defence Force, which shall have the function of defending Lesotho and supressing terrorism and internal disorder. Part IV governs enlistment and terms of service for soldiers. Inter alia, sets forth death penalty for offences such as aiding the enemy or "cowardly behaviour" and prison terms for absence without leave.

Bars proceedings to challenge this.
