Article 3 (Note 1), inter alia, provides that female students having Bachelor and higher degrees are allowed to be sent abroad for studying only in company of their husbands.

Social Insurance Regulations on Foreign Nationals, 1972 Adoption: 1972-01-24 | IRN-1972-R-55222 Governs social insurance with respect to foreign national working in Iran. Establishes that foreign nationals who engage in employment in Iran are liable for social insurance in the same way as Iranian workers with the exception of foreign nationals working for a non-profit organization. Legislates that Iranian workers employed for foreign non-profit orgnaizations are liable for social insurance as are any other Iranian workers. Sets the insurance premium for foreign staff as nine per cent of the worker's salary. Provides for employment accident benefits to foreign nationals. Provides for compensation to foreign workers with regard to lost wages due to the use of artificial limbs resulting from an industrial accident. Provides foreign workers with pension coverage.
