Law of Georgia on Funded Pension (N3303-რს). (საქართველოს კანონი დაგროვებითი პენსიის შესახებ) -

1. This Law regulates relations associated with funded pensions.
2. The relations associated with funded pensions shall be implemented independently of the state pension and state compensation.
3. The purpose of this Law is to ensure the management of pension assets within the funded pension scheme, in accordance with the interests of participants.
4. This Law shall apply to:
a) employers;
b) citizens of Georgia, except for non-resident natural persons;
c) aliens permanently residing in Georgia and stateless persons, except for non-resident natural persons;
d) activities related to funded pensions carried out by asset management companies, specialised depositories, commercial banks, insurance companies and other entities.

Amendments adopted on 20 March 2015, in article 4 introduce notion of a beneficiary person; in para "g" of article 5 further develop provisions related to fundamental right of a patient to receive information about his/her health condition; in para "e" of article 5 modify provisions related to fundamental right of a patient to refuse treatment according to provisions of this law; introduces para. "t1" to article 5 on the right to participate in private law relations; modify article 7 on recognition as a beneficiary person; in article 8 modify provisions related to psychiatric care for minors of less than 16 years of age; in article 14 modify provisions on ambulatory psychiatric care; in article 15 modify provisions on stationary psychiatric care.

Provides for rules on implementing Presidential Decree No. 44 of 10 February 2001 which addresses 45,000 needy families and foresees to allocate 13,3 million laris (ca. 6,5 million dollars) to them. The Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Protection shall implement and monitor the program, as set forth in the Decree, in collaboration with NGOs, and local and self-governance bodies.
