Aim of the Act is to expand employees digitalization skills and therefore be them prepared for digitalization transformation in the job market. Federal Employment Agency is to support employees in such continuing education projects: i.e. covers part of the training costs, also employers receive subsidies for releasing worker for training during working hours (level of subsidies depends on of the size of enterprise).

Inter alia, this Act amends the Employment Promotion Act (LS 1969-Ger. F.R. 1), as last amended by the Act of 6 Jan. 1987 (BGBl. I S. 89), in several respects. Para. 5 of s. 2 of the 1969 Act is amended to read, "occupationally integrating and promoting employment opportunities for women who are difficult to place under normal labour market conditions because of saturation of sex-specific training slots or the sex-specific labour market;". The dates in s. 67 (2)(3) are extended, and the number of days for receiving unemployment benefits under s. 106 are increased to 156, with a possibility of extension. Workers over the age of 42 experiencing long-term unemployment have the right to extended benefits by virtue of new s. 242g. The Act also amends s. 128(1)(2)(4) and repeals s. 106a.

La loi modifie la loi de 1969 (SL 1969 - All.(RF) 1 ... 1974 - All.(RF) 1) sur la promotion de l'emploi. Elle prévoit, notamment, que les prestations de chômage ne pourront pas être versées aux personnes touchées par un différend du travail et précise l'application de cette disposition à l'égard des différends concernant les conventions collectives par branche d'activité. Elle définit la composition de la commission de neutralité et la procédure des recours contre ses décisions. Elle abroge l'arrêté du 2 mars 1973 sur la neutralité et sa modification du 14 juillet 1982.

(R.F.) 2) et à la loi sur les caisses minières (SL 1926 - All. 5 ... 1934 - All. 9).
