Bridge part time can last one year up to five years. availability of bridge part time depends on the size of company (with more than 200 employees, in small business up to 45 no bridge option, for medium-sized companies applies a specific rule)

    The general minimum wage applies to employees and certain interns. The following are not employees within the meaning of the MWA:
    - Anyone who is a trainee under the Vocational Training Act, including persons who are enrolled in vocational training preparation measures.
    - Anyone who works as a volunteer/in an honorary capacity.
    - Anyone who does voluntary service.
    - Anyone who is enrolled in a measure that actively promotes their participation in the labour market.
    - Anyone who is a home worker under the Home Works Act.
    - Anyone who is self-employed.
    Under section 2 (1) of the Minimum Wage Act, employers must normally pay the minimum wage for each hour worked and pay this by the date specified by law.

    Employers who contract out employees to other employers without maintaining an official employment service pusuant to s. 13 of the Act regarding employment promotion require a special permit. Contracted out employees retain their employment relationship with the original employer. There shall be no new labour contract between the employee and the temporary employer. The Act provides protection for contracted out employees against short term employment in times of a surge in the demand for labour and against dismissal in during a fall in the demand for labour.

    Concerns employees working at home. During the first four weeks either the employer or the worker can terminate the contract with one day's advance notice. After that time the period of notice is two weeks, and can extend to as much as three months as the number of years of service increases. The Federal Act regarding protection against unlawful dismissal is not applicable to these contracts. The employer also must inform the employment service of a state when these contracts are concluded.
