These amendments of Regulations under ss.29, 30 and 31 of the Social Security Act 1972 eliminate public service employees from the coverage of the Regulations, replace the sickness benefit calculations under Regulation 8, and revoke the Social Security (Benefit) (Sickness) (Amendment) Regulations, 1990 (1990, No.33).
