Second Region

Concerns regulations regarding vocational training for skilled trade jobs. The probationary period of an apprenticeship must not be longer than three months. During that time both employer and apprentice are allowed to cancel their contract without specific reason or without providing a period of notice. At the end of the probationary period the apprenticeship can only be terminated for a very important reason by the employer or the apprentice by giving advance notice of four weeks. The apprentice also must not divulge confidential business information to competitors.
