Abstract/Citation: Provides for mediation in cases where negotiations regarding termination of employment have failed (s. 2 and 3). Lists the circumstances in which an employer may terminate employment without permission from the Regional or Central Labour Disputes Commission (s. 5) and sets forth impermissible grounds for dismissal: union membership; complaints lodged by worker; creed, religion, persuasion (opinion), clan, group or sex (s. 8). Describes employee behaviour on which dismissal may be based (s. 9) and denotes cases in which employers may issue warnings to employees (s. 10). Contains provisions (ss. 11 - 19) on severance pay (dismissal bonuses). Revokes Labour Minister Regulations Nos. 9 and 11 of 1964.
