Abstract/Citation: Regulates protection against ionizing radiation to minimize damage to human health while allowing the development, production and use of radiation sources and the implementation of radiation activities. Regulates the implementation of nuclear and radiation safety measures in the case of the use of nuclear materials and special safeguards. Defines the competence of the body responsible for nuclear safety and the body responsible for radiation protection, and transposes relevant EU Directives.
