| Abstract/Citation: | The Act repeals the Protection and Welfare of the Disabled Persons Act, 2039 (1982), implementing the United Nations Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the articles in the Constitution of 2015 which protect the rights of persons with disabilities. Contains provisions which provide access to persons with disabilities to basic services, human rights, opportunities including health, education and employment. |
