Abstract/Citation
Repeals and replaces the Natural Calamity Relief Act of 1982. Provides for the cooperation of national and local authorities in the framework of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council in the case of natural disasters in Nepal. Focuses on protecting public life, public and private property, natural and cultural heritages, physical properties and minimising the disaster risk.
