Workshop on Human Resource Development Fund

The purpose of the workshop includes pooling of income from various sources, mobilizing resources, building training capacities, expanding the volume of enterprise training, providing access for disadvantaged group to training, improving relevance and quality of training, using resources efficiently and developing appropriateness of training programs.

Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) project is organizing a high level meeting on Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) on February 4th 10:00 am. ILO’s Bangladesh Skills for Employment and Productivity (B-SEP) Project funded by Canada is collaborating with SEIP & providing technical inputs in the subject.
The purpose of the workshop includes pooling of income from various sources, mobilizing resources, building training capacities, expanding the volume of enterprise training, providing access for disadvantaged group to training, improving relevance and quality of training, using resources efficiently and developing appropriateness of training programs. The main objective of the Fund is mobilizing resources in addition to the existing resource base for skills development activities for an adequately skilled workforce in Bangladesh that would meet the domestic as well as international demand for skilled manpower.
