    Tripartite National Conference on ‘Green Jobs: The Way Forward’

    A tripartite National Workshop under the ‘Green Jobs in Asia’ project held on Sunday, 18 September 2011, at the Ruposhi Bangla Hotel, Dhaka. The ‘Green Jobs in Asia’ project is being implemented in Bangladesh by the International Labour Organization and the tripartite constituents. It is supported by the Australian Government – ILO Partnership Agreement (2010-2015). The conference’s main aim was to enhance understanding about the concept of green jobs in Bangladesh while seeking the views of various stakeholders on the way forward by identifying priority areas for interventions. The event was organized by The International Labour Organization (ILO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Employment. ILO constituents (government, employers and workers) in Bangladesh and other stakeholders participated in the conference.
