Kabir's Dream: A future vision of skills in Bangladesh
Kabir was raised by his uncle. He had a dream to modernise his father's handloom factory and become a weaver, but also a trainer of other young people. This is Kabir's story of how he achieved his dream through technical education.
Skills in Bangladesh are changing, through the introduction of the National Technical and Vocational Qualifications Framework. Bangladesh needs skilled workers, so we are making technical and vocational education easier to access for all, higher quality and directly linked to jobs, so stories like Kabir's can become a reality.
