The new project implemented by multiple UN agencies, including the ILO will assist companies on how to restructure production in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the EU Green Agenda.
In close cooperation with UNIDO, the competent authorities and social partners, the ILO will prepare a Stock Taking report on SDG positive business practices in the textile and footwear sector in Albania, and design a roadmap for the adoption of SDGs and the EU Green Agenda in these sectors. Additionally, the ILO will deliver a Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) Training in 30 textile and footwear factories, which combines practical classroom training with in-factory consulting aimed at improving productivity and working conditions in small and medium enterprises.
