National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia (NHRCM) and the ILO organized a meeting to promote an ILO media toolkit on forced labour and fair recruitment. The meeting was funded by the ILO Bridge II project.

ILO project experience in China shared in global Skills Fair on Quality Apprenticeships

From 27 to 29 February, the global Skills Fair on Quality Apprenticeships was successfully held jointly by the ILO and ten international organization partners in Turin, Italy. ‘Quality Apprenticeship and Lifelong Learning in China’ Project was presented during the Panel of Success Stories in Asia and Africa and exhibited as the only project from Asia among all exhibition booths.

The objective of this paper is to provide a panoramic description and analysis of the diversity of the new forms of employment that have been emerging in China, with the focus on their background, the main types, the status quo of labour rights protection, and the government's responses to the challenges of labour regulations brought by NFE. Finally, on the basis of the above, the paper puts forward corresponding policy recommendations on how to improve workers' protection in new forms of Employment.

The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) and the ILO have jointly organized a two-day training workshop on forced labour for trade unions within the framework of the ILO Bridge-II project funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL).
