    On September 10th, the ILO and its partners participate in the SDG Open Day to promote the Sustainable Development Goal 8 about "decent work and economic growth" in the framework of the “Trade for Decent Work” project funded by the European Union.

  2. Mongolian version of the Handbook of procedures relating to international labour Conventions and Recommendations launched

    On September 9, the ILO officially launched the Mongolian translation of the Handbook of procedures relating to international labour Conventions and Recommendations (Centenary Edition 2019) within the framework of the "Decent Work and Trade" project funded by the European Union.

    The ITCILO, training arm of the International Labour Organization, organizes the Summer 2022 edition of its Global Youth Forum – an experiential learning platform bringing youth at the forefront of efforts aimed at supporting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and achieving its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  4. Workshop on Labour Disputes and Settlement for members of tripartite committees in Mongolia

    On June 13, ILO and the Ministry for Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia jointly organized a one-day workshop on Labour Disputes and Settlement targeting members of tripartite committees in Mongolia at the “Tuushin” hotel as part of the ILO’s "Trade for Decent Work" project funded by the European Union.

    On the occasion of the World Day Against Child Labour marked on 12 June, the International Labour Organization (ILO) together with the School of Educational Studies, Mongolian State University of Education held a “Child Labour and Social Protection” competition for university students in Mongolia.

  8. Mongolians learn about Decent Work on Europe Day

    During Europe Day in May 2022, the ILO implemented “Trade for Decent Work” project funded by the European Union, sets up a booth to educate Mongolian citizens about decent work.

  9. Labour Welfare Service officers are being trained in labour law and labour dispute resolution

    10 - 11 May 2022

    In close collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, "Trade for Decent Work" project funded by the European Union trains Labour Welfare Service officers at the local and national government levels on the newly adopted Labour Law (2021) and the Labour Dispute Resolution mechanism from May 10 to May 11, 2022.

  10. Hazardous child labour list is being updated

    Mongolia has ratified the ILO Conventions 138 and 182 and has adopted and revised the Hazardous child labour list since 2008. Labour Law of Mongolia was revised in 2021 and brought it more compliant with the international labour standards.
