CMTU Training Workshop on OSH Legislation for Trade Union Officials and Representatives

This is a follow-up to the CMTU lawyers’ training that was held on 23-24 October 2019. It aims at improving capacity of trade union officials and representatives to provide basic advice on the national occupational safety and health legislation to workers and union members, especially those in the informal economy. The training workshop is supported by the RBSA project on Promoting Formal Employment for Inclusive and Diversified Economic Growth in Mongolia (MNG/18/01/RBS).

As part of its efforts to improve the existing legal services for members and workers in the informal economy, CMTU is organizing a series of paralegal trainings for trade union officials and representatives to provide basic legal advice in key legislation.

CMTU lawyers in cooperation with national experts from the General Agency for Specialized Inspection, the Occupational Safety and Health Centre and the General Authority for Social Insurance will conduct this two day training on the national occupational safety and health legislation.

Training participants
35 trade union officials and representatives from 12 provincial trade unions, the capital city trade union federation and 5 industrial trade union federations will attend this training workshop.
