    50 representatives of government, workers’ and employers’ organization gather to improve their understanding about the ILO’s mechanism to supervise the application of International Labour Standards and Mongolia’s reports on its application of ratified conventions that have been submitted to the ILO’s Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations (CEACR).

    Horse racing events have been evolving from part of the traditional festive culture into a highly commercialized profit-oriented activity that takes place not only in summer but throughout the year in winter and spring seasons when children face a high level of risk of various injuries, and even fatalities.

  2. Mongolia ratifies the ILO Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC, 2006)

    Mongolia is the 69th ILO member State to ratify the Convention.

    The primary goal of the ILO is to promote opportunities for women and men to obtain decent work in conditions of freedom, equity, security and human dignity. Gender equality is a key element in reaching this goal and is a cross-cutting policy driver for all ILO policy outcomes. ILO advances gender equality and women’s empowerment in the world of work in cooperation with various consitituents and other UN agencies.
