Training for Employers on Addressing, Preventing and Eliminating Forced Labour in the Rubber Industry
The training focuses on practical guidance for employers in the rubber industry in Malaysia, particularly those employing migrant workers, on how to identify risks of forced labour in the recruitment, employment and sourcing practices, and how to effectively address, prevent and eliminate these risks.

This one-day training is based on Addressing, preventing and eliminating forced labour in the rubber industry in Malaysia: A practical guide for Malaysian employers, which was launched on 8 August 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, and is directly supporting the implementation of Malaysia's first National Action Plan on Forced Labour (2021-25).
The Sustainable Supply Chains to Build Forward Better is a joint initiative of the ILO and EU that sets out to advance decent work in five selected global supply chains for a fair, resilient, and sustainable COVID-19 crisis recovery. Rubber glove manufacturing in Malaysia is one of them.
