    This training programme is an attempt to address the issue by taking men on a self-reflective journey of understanding their actions, behavior patterns and motivations through a gender lens and thereby moving towards becoming active in not only preventing gender-based violence in the work place but also thinking and acting in more gender equal ways in the domestic sphere.

    JAKARTA (Joint Press Release): Prevention of harassment in the workplace is both an international and national concern. It is internationally agreed that sexual harassment is a form of gender discrimination and is recognized as a violation of human rights. Sexual harassment at work can happen to any worker at any workplace—offices, factories, plantations and farms, small and large enterprises.

  8. United Nations Photo Exhibit on Indigenous Women (International Women’s Day 2012)

    The ILO Country Office for the Philippines, as the Chair of the United Nations Indigenous Peoples Technical Working Group, has partnered with the SM Cares for a photo exhibit on indigenous women. The week-long photo exhibit will be launched on 8 March 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the 2F South Wing, Entertainment Mall Area of the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. The photo exhibit will then be moved to other SM Malls in Metro Manila.
